Desserts don’t have to involve 3 hours of preparation and baking. There are much quicker and easier options if you’re craving for something sweet.
Like roasted pears – drizzle them with some honey or maple syrup, add cinnamon, raisins and your favorite nuts. Now you’ve got yourself a super healthy sweet treat that’s delicious and comforting.
- 1 Pear per person
- 0.5 tsp Sunny Day Naturals’ Organic Ceylon Cinnamon
- Honey or maple syrup
- Some mint leaves
- Slice the pears in halves
- Place them in a hot pan, then add the honey with the cinnamon, cook for 2 minutes side by side and the add the raisins for two more minutes.
- Serve immediately, adding some nuts and the mint leaves for extra crunch.
